Survey on Long-Term Care Services in San Juan County Currently Being Conducted

San Juan County Public Hospital District No. 1, along with the other Hospital Districts in San Juan County and Inter-Island Healthcare Foundation, is in the process of conducting a survey to identify the needs and expectations of Seniors in San Juan County.

The goal of the survey is to evaluate the impacts of long-term care planning over the past three years and determine the efficiency of current initiatives in San Juan County. It will also help Public Hospital District No. 1 with its expansion planning for Village at the Harbor. This survey presents a wonderful opportunity for members of the public to ensure their affirmations, opinions, and concerns are heard and taken into consideration as we move forward with planning.

The survey is funded by a grant from the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy. Further information, along with the link, is listed below:

San Juan County Public Hospital District #1 currently operates the San Juan Island EMS and Village at the Harbor. The District pays a large subsidy to support PeaceHealth Peace Island Medical Center.
